What is GoochApproved?

GoochApproved is a value system designed to help the average consumer judge various consumer options within the retail, hotel, and restaurant world.  GoochApproved will rate eating establishments, department stores, local stores and even individual items. 

How do establishments and items get GoochApproved?

The Gooch rates each establishment, item, hotel and shop.  Gooch personally visits the establishment, experiences the establishment both in service and product.  Gooch then rates the establishment as GoochApproved if it meets his high standards of excellence and service.

Gooch will never rate an establishment as bad.  If the establishment is not listed on the website then it is NOT GoochApproved.  There are no negative reviews from Gooch, only positive reviews of establishments that he could recommend to the consumer.

Who is the Gooch?

Gooch is a person of impeccable taste and very meticulous about service and quality.  He has been to a great many establishments, hotels, boutiques, department stores, and local stores.  Only some make the GoochApproved value list.  In fact, some establishments are revisited over time and are removed from the list if quality and service slide below Gooch value.  Gooch lives in the Northeast and many recommendations are in the Northeast.  Gooch also has recommendations in the Northwest, and Southwest.  If you have questions or recommendations, Gooch can be reached via email at Gooch@GoochApproved.com.
